| The design came from my Heart's Wings painting,
found in my Celtic gallery. I thought a simplified version of the framing design would make a nice mug pattern. Hand carved, tooled, painted and stitched. The picture shows it from all angles. Made from 5-6 oz Vegetable tanned leather. Lined with a 2 part epoxy on this inside and coated in wax finished on the outside to allow for drinking. (unlined in image) |
