This is an illustration for a poem, "Children of Odin", done for the upcoming illustrated book of poetry by Alex Ness. The book will be called "A Life of Ravens" and will be illustrated by a large number of artists. It's a fantastic project that I'm glad to be a part of. IU'll post more details as I learn them.

This piece actually came out much better than I was afraid it would. Originally it was going to be much more realistically styled, with nowhere near this amount of knotwork, but it just sort of grew into this. I'm pretty pleased with it.

Oh, and the truly amazing thing about this is, once I actually sat down to work on it, it only took me two days to get it completely done, start to finish. Whew! But my hand is tired!
